Forum Theatre
Working with our partners CentreStage Roleplay we can design tailored training course for your organisation. Both dynamic and thought-provoking, Forum Theatre enhances communication by raising awareness and triggering debate, and while it may be cliché, it’s also a lot of fun!
It takes the form of a performance involving at least two actors and a scenario which reflects your key development needs. As the play unfolds, the actors will ask the audience for guidance on how to resolve their dilemmas.
There are many great things about forum theatre, and one of the greatest is that it gets people talking and sharing ideas. Where human interaction is concerned, there’s so often no right or wrong, only different perceptions, so we love it when delegates have differences of opinion as it’s a fantastic opportunity to explore the issues in more depth and share best practice.
Forum theatre also gets people thinking because it requires participants to put themselves in a situation, to imagine how they would react, and question how their own behaviour may affect and be perceived by others.
